Oceanfront Mile on the Strand'
Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, the newest and best oceanfront mile
Grand Strand, is what you get when you put together 300,000 nails,
10,000 bolts, 555,000 screws, and almost 800,000 feet of lumber.
After nine months of construction the new Boardwalk is now
open, and ready for you to take a stroll "on the boards"!
Travel and Leisure recently

lively with it's beach shops, arcades, music, cafes, and oceanfront
The last section, South
Promenade, is a more peaceful and relaxing part of the Myrtle
Beach Boardwalk and extends
from 8th Avenue North to the 2nd Avenue Pier
where you will find a nice oceanfront park.
