You will find over 100 beautiful championship golf courses, many designed by professional golfers, all along the Grand Strand.

The Grand Strand stretches from the southern tip of the North Carolina all the way down to Georgetown, South Carolina. It is divided into three main sections: The South Strand at Murrell's Inlet, the Myrtle Beach Strand, and the North Strand which includes North Myrtle Beach and Sunset Beach. That's over 70 miles of golf courses, one after the other!

Myrtle Beach offers more golf courses than any other location in the country. Golf Digest listed many Myrtle Beach courses in the "Top 100 Greatest Public Courses in America", making Myrtle Beach the "Golf Capitol of the World."

Over one million golfers visit the Myrtle Beach Golf Grand Strand each year, not only for great golf, but also for the spectacular weather, sandy beaches, nightlife, great food, shopping, and entertainment!  So, if this is a family vacation, the rest of the family will have plenty of fun activities to do, including the beautiful sandy beaches, while you're on the golf course!

Most all courses are public, so anyone can play, whether you're a professional golfer or just learning the sport for the very first time.
Because Myrtle Beach has "golf-friendly" weather with mild winters, the golf season is basically year round.  The most popular time is in the fall when most of the tourists have headed back home and the weather is absolutely perfect for lots of golf!
